    In getting up before sunrise Friday, a Sterling man spotted someone who appeared to be a burglar on his back deck, but the individual disappeared before Loudoun sheriff's deputies arrived. The resident told the deputies that he woke up at 2:50 a.m. and went to the kitchen of his home, in the 21700 block of Canfield Terrace, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
